Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

EveningSpace is an evening revision planner for students. This page explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Straight answers, no fine print.

Our core promises

  • No daily monitoring and no hidden tracking. You manage your evening plan independently.
  • Most of your planner stays on your device. Only the factual app records needed for the weekly report are saved to your account (see below).
  • Your account and subscription are managed securely online.
  • You choose when to share saved progress or a completed week. A current-week link clearly shows it is incomplete and stays frozen at creation. There is no live parent view or automatic sending.
  • EveningSpace never reads your messages, notifications or browsing, and cannot read real screen-time from your phone.
  • We do not sell personal data and show no ads.
  • EveningSpace cannot block, lock or remotely control your phone.

Account information we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and a securely protected password (or the sign-in details from the sign-in provider you choose). This is used to sign you in and link you to your subscription.

We securely store your original email-verification time and the end of your seven free days. Logging out, clearing browser data or changing email does not restart free access. Your saved goals and revision history remain accessible after expiry.

Subscription and payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. EveningSpace never sees or stores your full card details. We keep a record of your Stripe customer reference, your plan (EveningSpace or EveningSpace Plus) and your subscription status, so we know which features you can use.

Planner data stored on your device

Your subject list, evening times, settings, notes and the rest of your planner are saved locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data, or using "clear data" in Settings, removes this local copy. You can also export it from Settings.

Factual activity records saved to your account

To create the agreed weekly report, EveningSpace saves factual app records of planner and timer activity to your account as it happens:

  • each planned task's subject, topic, planned minutes and day, and when it was planned, rescheduled, changed, cancelled or completed;
  • when the timer was started, paused, resumed or finished, so the timer-recorded time can be worked out;
  • any minutes you enter yourself, which are kept separately as your own correction;
  • the weekly target at the start of each reporting period, and any agreed change to the reporting period, with the date and time it was made.

These records can't be edited or deleted from the app, so the weekly report stays a fixed record. They show how long the EveningSpace timer ran. They do not verify how hard you concentrated or the quality of your work. Clearing your local data does not remove them; email us to delete them with your account.

Weekly report

The summary uses genuine saved revision records. You can share Progress so far at any time, or a completed weekly summary, using your phone's sharing options. Current-week summaries show the actual covered dates and incomplete status. Each link is a frozen read-only snapshot, not live monitoring. It does not show your name, email or other account details. Saved progress remains viewable and shareable after free access expires. Nothing is sent automatically and we do not collect your parent's contact details. Optional student comments in existing reports remain separate.

Optional Plus planning help

If you use EveningSpace Plus and ask for help reordering your plan, the topic names and confidence ratings needed for that request are sent to process the suggestion. This only happens when you request it.

Why we use your information

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To provide the features of your plan.
  • To create the agreed weekly report from your factual activity records.
  • To process and manage your subscription.
  • To reply when you contact us for help.
  • To measure how our advertising performs, where you've agreed to it.

Who processes your information

Stripe processes payments. Meta and TikTok process advertising measurement as described below. Our secure hosting provider stores account, subscription and weekly report records on our behalf. Apart from this disclosed advertising measurement, we do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)

Where you've agreed — or where your region doesn't require asking first — we use Meta's Pixel on this website to measure how our advertising performs: which pages are visited and whether an advert leads to a sign-up. This uses cookies and similar identifiers processed by Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It isn't connected to the planner, the timer or the weekly report.

You can accept or decline in the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time via "Cookie settings" in the website footer. If you decline, the Pixel isn't loaded for you. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Advertising measurement (TikTok Pixel)

Only after you explicitly accept the notice naming TikTok, we load TikTok's Pixel to measure website page visits. TikTok receives page addresses, browser and device details, and cookie or similar identifiers for advertising measurement. We do not send customer matching information or subscription conversion events to TikTok. A previous Meta-only acceptance does not authorize TikTok, and TikTok stays blocked without acceptance in every region.

The existing cookie banner offers Accept and Decline. You can withdraw permission through "Cookie settings" in the website footer; the change applies to other open tabs too. We keep a device-local record of your choice, time, region, notice and visitor reference, preserving acceptance evidence if you later withdraw. Clearing browser storage removes this record. TikTok processes this information under its privacy policy.

Deleting your account or data

You can delete your local planner data at any time from Settings. To delete your account, subscription and activity records, email contact@eveningspace.com from the address you signed up with. Please cancel any active subscription first from your Account page.
